Privacy policy

Sniperclick ("we", "us") is an e-commerce marketing and development business based in Calgary, AB, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through sniperclick.com and in the course of our work, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

Information we collect

• Information you send us. When you email us or book a call, we receive your name, email address, company and anything you choose to tell us about your business.
• Booking information. Discovery calls are scheduled through Google Calendar's booking page. Google collects the details you enter in the booking form, adds the call to our calendar and creates a Google Meet link.
• Technical information. Our website is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address, browser type and the pages you request in order to deliver and secure the site.
• Client account data. When you hire us, we may get access to your store, advertising and analytics accounts. We use that access only to deliver the work you have engaged us for.

Cookies and analytics

sniperclick.com does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the site from abuse. If you open our booking page, Google may set its own cookies, which are covered by Google's privacy policy.

How we use your information

• To reply to your questions and schedule calls
• To provide, manage and bill for services you have engaged us to perform
• To keep the website secure and working
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for purposes you have not agreed to.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers, including Cloudflare (hosting and security) and Google (email, scheduling and video calls). They process information on our behalf and may store it outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and client records for as long as required for the engagement and for legal and tax purposes, generally up to seven years. Access to client store and ad accounts is removed when an engagement ends, or sooner if you ask.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted connections, access controls and two-factor authentication on the accounts we use. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to our use of it, subject to legal and contractual limits. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
